SMALL GROUP PT CLASSES

Small Group PT gives you the structure of personal training with the energy of training alongside others. Sessions are capped at four people, so you still get space, attention, and proper coaching — never a crowded studio.

Each 60-minute class blends strength work, conditioning, and steady progressions that build week by week. It’s focused, effective training in a setting that feels supportive rather than packed.

If you want professional coaching at a more accessible price than one-to-one PT, Small Group PT is a strong option.

REFORMER PILATES

Reformer Pilates at Drakes Gym is available only as one-to-one sessions with Wayne or Ben. It’s a practical way to build strength, improve mobility, and support recovery—especially if you’re returning to training, managing joint issues, or prefer a quieter environment. The machine uses spring resistance to challenge the body through controlled, low-impact movements. Sessions are steady, structured, and built around how you feel that day. We don’t rush progress, but we track it carefully. It’s strength training that helps you move well and stay consistent.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Most personal training sessions are with Ben or Pearce. The focus is simple: help you get stronger, leaner, and more capable—without wasting your time. We start by understanding your goals and your baseline, then build a plan that fits around your routine. Whether you’re new to training or have years behind you, we’ll guide the work and adjust as needed. There’s no pressure to push beyond what’s useful—just steady progress you can see and feel. Every session is planned in advance and built around you.

SINTESI TRAINING

Sintesi is a digital resistance system available only with Wayne. It uses a cable and motor to create smooth, controlled resistance that adjusts as you move. This makes it ideal for joint-friendly strength work, eccentric loading, or focused tempo sessions. It’s especially useful for busy professionals who want to train hard without overdoing it. Sintesi sessions are planned carefully and adjusted based on your ability on the day. It’s quiet, efficient, and designed to support long-term progress without unnecessary strain.

INBODY SCAN

The InBody scan is a standard part of training at Drakes. It gives a clear picture of what’s happening inside your body—muscle mass, fat levels, water balance, and more. We use it to measure what matters and track your progress over time. There’s no guessing, no pinching, and no fluff—just reliable data that supports smarter training decisions. The scan takes less than a minute and is followed by a simple explanation of what the numbers mean. It’s built into your plan and reviewed regularly.

Let’s be honest: big, commercial gyms can be daunting. They’re often packed, noisy, and full of people who might make you feel out of place. That’s not what you’ll find at Drakes Gym.

Our studio is purposely never crowded, so you’ll never be waiting around for equipment or fighting for space. The vibe here is relaxed, and our team is down-to-earth. We’re here to support you – whether you’re a beginner or someone who knows their way around a gym. It’s a no-nonsense, judgement-free zone where you can get on with your workout and feel good about it.

Start with an Intro Session

A 1-to-1 workout to meet you, assess your movement, and complete your InBody scan to guide you toward the simplest way to get results. No pressure, just clarity.


Flexible PT & Reformer Packages

After your intro, choose a monthly package of 4, 8, or 12 sessions.
Use them however you like — combine Personal Training and Reformer Pilates in whichever mix suits your goals and schedule.


Sintesi Sessions

Try Sintesi with 3 sessions for £99 — standalone one-to-one workouts using our adaptive digital resistance system. Short, precise, and joint-friendly, these 30-minute sessions make every rep count.

If you enjoy Sintesi, it can be added to your regular PT or Reformer training as extra sessions, giving you more variety and focused strength work.


Optional Small Group PT

If you enjoy training with others, Small Group PT is available as a separate 60-minute session. Classes are capped at four people for focused coaching and a motivating environment.
